Race Face is one of those big names who are permanently linked with mountain biking. Alone the location in British Columbia says it all because only a few kilometers outside of Vancouver and the famous North Shore trails mountain biking performed one of its most important evolutionary leaps with the birth of the freeride. Race Face became famous especially with its CNC machined cranks, which were significantly stronger than the ones of many competitors - and of course with the support of drivers like Wade Simmons.
Meanwhile Race Face has become a worldwide active company and produces next to high quality components even excellent protectors and clothing for mountain bikers.
Not surprising that the readers of the magazine MountainBIKE awarded Race Face with the Best Brand Award (3rd place in the category "handlebars, stems and seatposts") in 2011.
